Can the air-conditioning be adjusted?
Air-conditioning can be adjusted using the control dial in the room.
Where can I store my bags?
Your bags can be stored with Concierge until you require them.
Do you have up-to-date flight information?
We have two screens located in the hotel lobby which show the latest flight information.
Do you have an umbrella/adaptor?
Umbrellas and adaptors can be borrowed from Concierge.
Can I exchange foreign currency here?
Yes, we can exchange foreign currency. We accept: Australian dollars, US dollars, euros, pound sterling, Japanese yen and Canadian dollars.
Do you have an ATM?
We do not have an ATM, the closest is located at the set of shops next to Hotel Grande, please ask reception for directions.
Do you have computers I can use?
Yes, there are two computers located in the hotel lobby that guests can use to browse the internet. Our reception team can assist with printing requirements. There will be a charge of 10 cents per page printed or 20 cents in colour.
Can I get a newspaper?
The hotel supplies the NZ Herald and this can be arranged to be delivered to your room. Alternatively, you can collect one from the Concierge desk.
Can you post my mail here?
Yes – just handover the mail stamped and we can post it for you. We can also organise a courier which can be charged back to your room.
What time is check out?
Check out is 11am and check in is 3pm. Any hour you stay in your room after check out time, there would be a late check out fee of $20 per hour up until 6pm.
If we want an extra bed, rollaway or cot do we have to pay extra?
Baby cots are free and extra beds (rollaway) charged at $65.
What time is the pool open?
The hotel pool is located in the central courtyard and is open from 7am till 10pm daily. Please note the following safety guidelines:
• Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult
• Glassware is not permitted within the fenced area
Does your bar have a happy hour?
Yes, Halo Bar’s happy hour is from 5-7 pm, and includes specials on beer and wine.
Do you have a gym?
Yes we do have a gym. It is open 24 hours, you just need your room key to access it. It is located on the second floor between rooms 2067 and 2201.
Telephone and Internet
How do I get an outside line? How do you dial an international number?
To get an outside line, lift the receiver of the phone and dial 0, then dial the number you require. For international calling you need to lift the receiver, dial 0 for the outside line, then 00, followed by the country code, the area code and the number. Local and international charges apply.
Where can I access the internet and how much is it?
Wired and wireless internet is available in all guest rooms. Instructions for use are on the tent card located on the desk in your room, please contact reception to purchase time.

Can I have a wake up call?
Yes we can arrange a wake up call.
How long does it take to get to the airport and how do I get there?
The Holiday Inn Auckland Airport is located just 4.8km from the international terminal at Auckland Airport. There are several transport options for travel between Holiday Inn and Auckland Airport:
Shuttle Bus – The Yellow Bus:
Running on a continuous circuit between the hotel and the airport every 30 minutes. Tickets are $6 each way for adults and free for children.

Prices will vary between companies but you can expect your fare to be approximately $12-20.
Where is the nearest service station?
There is a BP service station located at 154 Coronation Drive, a 4 minute drive from the hotel. There is also a Z service station located on the right side of George Bolt Memorial Drive, just before the turn off to the international terminal.
What time is the restaurant open?
Breakfast is available in Vapor Restaurant from 5am – 10.30am daily. You will enjoy an extensive selection of hot and cold breakfast dishes and eggs to order.
Alternatively we can offer an Express Breakfast – your choice of espresso based coffee or tea with two items from our bakery selection for only $10.
Our à la carte lunch menu is available from 12pm – 2.30pm and features a variety of cuisine.
Our à la carte and buffet dinner is available from 6pm – 10.30pm. Our buffet dinner offers a delightful selection of hot and cold dishes, including our nightly roast of the day and amazing dessert selection.
